Malama Writing Hui
Malama Writing Hui cohorts align with the timing of the malama (moon cycle). The hui aims to nourish creative practice rooted in ʻāina (land) through sensory explorations and prompts connected to kaulana mahina (phases of the moon).
The inaugural offering in Dec 2025 brought together artists and leaders from across Oceania, Hawaiʻi, and the US Continent in creative and cultural exchange. We are incredibly excited to be growing a creative community of Pacific Island creatives locally, in diaspora, and across Oceania.
